Frequently Asked Questions About Therapy

How do I know if I’m ready for therapy?

There’s no perfect moment to start therapy—only a willingness to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. If you’ve found yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply curious about your patterns and emotions, that may be a sign you’re ready. Readiness doesn’t mean having all the answers—it means being open to asking new questions about yourself.

Is now a good time for me to begin therapy?

Only you can truly answer that. It might be helpful to ask: Do I have enough space—mentally, emotionally, and practically—to commit to regular sessions? Therapy asks for your time, your honesty, and your attention. If your current circumstances allow for even a small pause to reflect and grow, then yes, now might be a very good time.

What if I’m not sure what I need help with?

hat’s completely okay. Many people come to therapy without a clear “issue” but with a sense that something isn’t right, or that they want more from life. Therapy can help you make sense of that vague feeling and bring clarity where things feel confusing or tangled.

What kinds of problems can therapy help with?

Therapy can help with a wide range of issues—from anxiety, depression, and trauma to relationship struggles, low self-esteem, burnout, or difficulty adjusting to life transitions. It can also be a space for personal development, building emotional resilience, or deepening your self-awareness.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a class?

Please provide at least [24/48] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a class. This allows us to offer the time slot to other clients and ensure a smooth scheduling process.

How long will it take to feel better?

Everyone’s journey is different. Some people feel relief after a few sessions; others find that therapy becomes a longer-term part of their personal growth. What matters is not speed, but depth and consistency. Therapy is not a quick fix—it’s a space where meaningful change unfolds over time.
